SUPERHERO

SUPERHERO 1966 (Texas)

Many times I have been asked "Who is your Superhero"?

Now I know I am my own Superhero, "A Mother", a woman with supernatural powers, a woman that has gone through pain, a growing belly, feeling the kicks, the turns and pumping hearts inside my body.  Sleepless nights to sooth the crying.

A Superhero who has played the role of a father, a friend, a confidant, a protector and a provider.  I have been a nurse, a teacher, but most of all a Mother.

A Superhero who has broken many barriers and has gone above and beyond looking for good and keeping away the bad to make sure her children are safe and protected amongst all others.

A Superhero indeed, caring and loving but most of all a "Mother."  Wouldn't you say I am a Superhero?
