Empty promises

She switched off the moon.
Plucked out the stars.
The day withers
that were once in bloom.
Petals fall
in an empty room.
The moon wept.
The stars cried.
She needed you.
Empty promises
only thing kept.
Her light once bright,
now gripping her bedsheets ever so tight.
Life was for living... But you were never giving.
