BOOMERANG

April Rendon 2001 (Concepcion, Ilo Ilo)

We're being lost
Everything is fraud
Everything's change
No one can explain

We're being fooled
By this messy world
Someone gossiping on our back
They surely laugh at us.

So hard to express
The emotion we bear
It's so hurt, cause we're  depress
By this load, that no one for us to cheer.

We barely recognize the world
Even ourselves are so easy to be fooled
We barely recognized the one we've loved
Cause they're the one who hurt us, the one who turn their back.

Crazy world, plus messy life
Heavy load, depression strike
Suffering, struggling
But still, no one hears our calling.

But wait, something echoing
"Don't stop, never give up! It's not the end,
Sometimes you need to let everything's gone and be down,
Sometimes you need to let go and take time"

"So you will realize that we're all going upside down,
For you can start to heal and wait for the dawn.
Go on and going out, your luck will turn around
You'll gonna find your way, cause you're like a boomerang"!

About this poem

This poem is all about our lives. We sometimes lost in this crazy world and struggle for this messy life we had. But, there's someone who will let us realize that our lives is like a boomerang. We can go back if we lost around.
