That Sniff And Taste For Power

Ignored repeatedly are the similarities.
People made to crave and satiate upon,
That scent drifting to first sniff...
A taste for power.
Hypnotizing to remove one's consciousness.
Misunderstanding too late to comprehend.
A power given to have it,
Is more dependent than not.
And...
In a democracy served by its dependency,
On the diversity of the people.
Who has the power,
To turn it off or on?
Or leave it where it is to self deceive,
The meaning and definition of it?

Dear God?
When will that time come,
To witness done...
People finding delusion,
Never to have harvested crops to grow.
Or workers in their various fields,
Supplying what is marketed easy to purchase.
And Lord?
People so love to be entertained.
Would that love for power to have,
Begin to irritate...
Our entertainers and athletes.
Who entertain all of us athletically?

How further out of their minds,
Can those mindless get?
Taking all they have for granted,
To follow fraud, corruption...
And a pride decaying from deception.
Destroying their freedoms and entitlements.
With no hint or clue,
As to why truth they have been made to fear!
This...
Mental sickness is the threat!
Too obvious to deny or ignore its origin.
