Mummy's Sleep Mask

Glenn L Maluchnik 1962 (New York)

Thieves have stolen  the mummy's sleep mask.
The mummy was awoken to track down the thieves who stole the mask and see it is returned.
 The mummy is no dummy.
With an empty stomach,
His tummy does not need food.
An old lady seen the mummy with a curse on it.
The old lady smacked the mummy with her purse.
Beating off the mummy.
He's looking for his sleep mask someone stole from him.
It must be returned.
So he  will sleep forever.
Or he will keep getting meaner.
We are the mummy's followers.                                          We must get the sleep mask back to the mummy.               He will sleep forever this time.
The only crime that was broken was his sleep mask was stolen.
The thieves have returned to steal more gold.
Haven't  they stolen enough?
The mummy went after them, they gave the sleep mask back.
As the thieves were burned for stealing the sleep mask by the mummy.
It was a task his followers didn't want to see.                   The mummy put on his sleep mask.
The dummy now reduced to a pile of ashes.
As he will sleep forever.
