Roach’s reality show
GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)
The dark nook suits me
As my color camouflages
And my coat overlaps me
I and my hexa-legs
The night is my travel media
As I am assured no giants
To trod on me to death
Or to pour on me the ‘ocean’
During the day I just cool down
‘Sleep and relax’ my motto
‘Be keen, ensure safety’ principle
And of course, munch a fiber!
The day crawls like a snail
Seeming as though ages
A half siesta does the job
The day is soon over
The night that I yearn for
Comes up at last, whoop!
I ploy and stealthily move
To munch the meaty remains
That’s my life!
