Analysis of Glimpse
E.S. Conway 1985 (United Kingdom)
Now were at the cross roads
decisions to be made
made by other people
people to be played
play them like a fiddle
music to my ears
if they miss a single note
the cost will be in years
years come and gone
the past is laid before me
the present is fading fast
and the future is behind me
no-one knows the truth
a secret that's well kept
a fortress built within the mind
secure from the inept
read this how you will
interpret as you please
circumstantial evidence
will bring you to your knees
lies that you created
belief in what you feel
but nothing really matters
if what you knows not real
a house that's made of sand
will crumble in the rain
don't understand the point i make
