Analysis of Poetry
Uhunoma Leonard Iyahen 1986 (United States)
Poetry so priceless, its value
Will live beyond every music
Staying forever in words
And eyes of the world
Poetry so artistic
Its Expresses its art through words Like the carvin of great Benin looted by the British.
Poetry so beautiful
It's a form of art pure
No greed for riches nor fame it can bring.
Poetry an everlasting masterpiece
A master art, showing the heart
For what's in it.
I bless this very gift. For it's a lift
That takes me in it. Blessed be thy
Creator oh Poetry.
And when the glamour of songs are gone
Poetry has just begun
