Analysis of The Soldier of Love
The Soldier of Love
by Fred Monte Lassonde
The Soldier of Love
Wears the Armor of God
Given from Heaven above
Their feet have been shod
To carry the Gospel
To whosoever will listen
Who will be saved from Hell
The Sword of the Lord does glisten
The Good News will always shine
Upon all who receive it
Who becomes no longer blind
Because they forever believe it
The Soldier of Love
Wears the Armor of God
Given from Heaven above
Yes, their feet have been shod
To carry the Gospel
To whosoever will listen
Who shall be saved from Hell
The Sword of the Lord does glisten
The Good News will always shine
Upon all who receive it
Who become no longer blind
Because they forever believe it
Sometimes a Soldier sows in tears
As the battle rages from year to year
Yet, the Lord Will overcome all the fears
And HE Will bottle every tear
The Lord resides within all HIS chosen
No Soldier of Love is ever alone
For if you are alone you are no son
Nor daughter if you be left alone
The Battle is always the Lords
HE will always dwell within HIS Own
So when you draw your Swords
Do so knowing you are not Alone!
Every Word of GOD shall return
The WORD of GOD is our Sword
All will come to Learn
And to say Jesus IS LORD!
So, Dear Soldier of Love
March on through it All
Remain steadfast in Love
Stand up when you fall
Love always through it All!
