Analysis of Short Epic of a Life Lived
Torn Clasic 1947 (Florida)
Sitting on the doorstep so lonely
Cigarette in hand, without a light
Wind is blowing, night is dark
Stark naked his soul
As he contemplates his life
Torn apart, open to all
And then she came.
Lit by the light she held
She lit his cigarette
And married him there
Sitting on a doorstep so lonely
