Analysis of A Child's Farewell

Sorry mommy, daddy, I didn't get to stay.
To laugh cry run and play.
I’ll always be there by your side.
I'm sorry that I had to die.

God sent me down to be with you,
to make your loving hearts anew.
To help you look up and see
Both God and little ole me.

Mommy, Daddy, I wish I could stay.
Just like I heard you and daddy pray.
But, all the angels they did cry
when they told lil ole me to say goodbye.

God didn't take me cause He's mad.
He didn't send me to make you sad.
But to give us three a chance to be
a love so precious .. don't you see?

Up here with Jesus, no trouble do I see
and all the pretty angels, they sing to me.
The streets made of gold is where I play
I know you'll both come here too, someday.

Until the day you both join me here,
I will love you and daddy dear.
Each passing breeze you feel and see,
Will be love and kiss’s from lil ole me.

With love Boom Boom
