Analysis of Songs of Praise

O Lord who made this fine universe many thanks to thee,
For you it is that made all from the horrid tadpoles to the lovely little bee.

We found at last a great man,
Head of all the priests in the church’s clan.

We looked for his crew we thought were singing some hymn,
He said they’re too old to come on tour with him!

We found him one fine morning in his nine o’ clock wank,
We said what he did was wrong, and he owed us a lovely spank!

He said it was God he wanted to applaud,
For whatever he did to himself, he did to God!

We did not want so and were quite mad,
But no results came off all the talks we had had.

When we told him to tithe us one-tenth he gave us the scoff,
Then Lord himself struck down on him and he began to cough.

Let’s cheer as he does for us the blood eagle pose,
In the name of the Father, and his son, and into the hole he goes.
