Analysis of A Grand Day

It’s a grand day, a day to thrive and be awake
To shake off the slumber, the dust, to clean the stains
To build with tempo, and to soften ambivalence

It is here where one can choose to be
Desire alone can be the catalyst
Belief though can be a fickle thing
It can sway left or right, up or down
Inside and outside

At times seemingly just beyond reach
But always reachable, blatantly reachable
Like a newborn child with arms outstretched
It’s there

Steam runs out when one was not taught to steam
When one was not taught to fight,
then freeze or flight is the casualty
