In the fields the soldiers fall
For our safety and the world

From the beaches of Gallipoli
To the fields of the Somme

But although the bodies remained below
The soldiers they shall not grow

Although the crosses they stand tall
Below them lie those from the war

The ones who fought so that we might stand
Through the bodies the poppies stand...
