Analysis of I survived
Ani Shahverdyan 1989 (Yerevan)
The sun leaves the horizon…
I`m still gazing at its ghost,
It`s the only reason
That I don`t get lost.
Roads shake under my feet;
The end is still not near,
But I can feel my heartbeat
Breaking the solemn air.
Dreams flow in my blood,
Feeding me with joy;
I made up my mind
To never bow…
I hear the first bird
Predicting the dawn;
I survived the night,
I survived the down…
