Analysis of To Serve My Saviour

Besides an old oak tree and snow-covered street
A man in his 30’s, I swiftly went to greet
Hello brother in Christ with a smile to me he said
Follow the Lord Jesus and this you won’t regret.

Exchanging short conversation, a testimony he did share
To be in a relationship is a beautiful feeling for every pair
But one thing he told me to always keep in mind
Our body is a temple of the holy and divine.

A man of Christian value and abundant grace I see
Who wants to serve his saviour as pure as he can be?
Giving up fornication and all the fleshy pleasure
Following the word of God is his life’s greatest treasure.

Sex before marriage is a sin and a trend, he said
It does not please our saviour and this we will regret
He sacrifices every temptation waiting for the wedding day.
To glorify his Saviour, receiving blessing all the way.
