Analysis of Word war

Karolina Marszałkowska 1993 (Gdańsk)

The wound made with words hurts even more
Than any injury I have suffered before
Your lips are a holder your tounge is a knife
First time when I anguished like this in my life

What's more I care what you say to me
From curse of your words never I'll be free
The blade was too sharp ,it hit the bull's-eye
Steel like this won't be destined to die

My heart is bleeding ,I can't find reprieve
Kind remedy is now everything I need
I wish it could heal , maybe with time
Cause from my life I'd rather not resign

But it aches like inferno started in the center
Closed space , firemen cannot enter
It's corrupting every nook, hidden in my mind
Like if there's a pact , that I somehow signed

Word is a weapon , never you forget
It will reach you , for this you can bet
The best defence is to attack
If there's a person that you can  hit back
