Analysis of Why is it no one will listen to me?

My mommy and daddy go to court today
They are fighting to see who has to give us away,
Mean things they say about one another
In hopes to keep me, my sisters and brother.

It is we the children who get hurt can't they see
And why is it no one will listen to me,
Sometimes I sit in my room all alone
Can't they hear my cries or my moans?

This pain I am feeling down deep inside
Over this battle to see where we will reside,
So when this is all said and done
One side may feel as if they have won.

But if you think about the cost
Its us, the children that have truly lost,
I love you both evenly
Why is it no one will listen to me?
