Analysis of When I was once yours
When I was once yours you told me you'd never leave me,
Then I found out you lied about that and you set me free,
Is it right for you to lie and is that any better than what I did to you,
I remember how cruel you were when you said we were through,
I remember you telling me it was forever,
Forever has now became never,
Is it right for you to lie,
And make me cry,
I guess you can do that and it makes it o.k.,
So what if you lied to me that is not abuse to you,
You told your friends a week ago you would stay for the long haul,
I guess forever ended now is the curtain call,
