Analysis of When I Speak, I Am Not Heard

I feel alone in the night
Not listened to anytime.
Whether my voice is a whisper
or a loud cry,
When I speak, I am not heard.
My ears are always open
Everytime someone speaks, I listen.
I try to hear everything that is said
But when I speak, I am not heard.
Everyone else has wants and needs,
Assumes that I will have what they need,
or give them what they want.
But when I try to give them
What they want and need,
And do not succeed,
I tell them I cannot achieve,
When I speak, I am not heard.
