Analysis of The Soloman Song
What must have sunk into your heart
That it would drown in these calm seas
Did you forget your song of songs
Or get stuck in Ecclesiastes
Surely you knew about the consequence
For treating life as something meaningless
Behind your wisdom you were still a man
Who in himself there is no righteousness
It pleased the Lord to make your kingdom grow
But in excess you learned to compromise
The word of God that brings both truth and light
For ways that seem right in a mans eyes
Perhaps your worship on that high place
Planted the seeds that would lead you astray
You found with wisdom there's still mysteries
The price for sin not even you could pay
