Analysis of The Other
From the confines of seclusion,
I watch,
the world winding around the sun,
while the other goes about its rythmic customs;
Time, enemy to all,
flows its way upstream,
betraying those that keep it,
yet inside my safe haven,
I observe this other,
wanting to reach out,
until my hand brushes the mirror,
the being of reviled routine,
is me.
