Analysis of The liquid of life
My world is a crystal drinking glass
with drops of water clear,
in which I see reflections pass,
in transparent liquid clear.
But every year has dipped its hand
into the waters heart,
and left its colours in my land,
now tinted by their art.
The winter left a breath of snow,
and autumn strokes of flame,
summer stirred in golden glow,
and spring its light green name.
Sadness cast their shadows dark,
the taste, a flavoured pass,
and dreams and wishes left their mark
within this crystal glass.
