Analysis of That Guy
I am standing in line at the Super Save
When I smell his elegant aftershave.
Just a hint not an intense wave.
Suddenly my aching heart won’t behave.
Standing there in the checkout line
I look around for the egotistical slime
Who broke this tender heart of mine.
But he isn’t standing near this time.
Instead, standing there by the door
Is the bagger who works in this store.
A teenager boy covered with zits galore.
He isn’t my guy that is for sure.
He smiles and just for a moment I can foresee
The man this boy is going to be.
His egotistic smile seems to agree,
Young girls’ hearts will be broken for free.
