Analysis of Test of Time

Every morning I thank the Lord
For the precious gift He gave me
Love that lives within my heart
Love I give totally
I consider myself to be lucky
To have a man like you
I would never take your love for granted
I know others have and you know
I would love you completely
Where others said they did
I will stand by your side
When others didn't even try
I will never try to change you
When others tried and tried
I have seen a man who gave
What did he get in return?
For once I want to give you
A love that you yearn
I will show you every day
For I am here to stay
Time has been our test
For our love to fall apart
It stood the time
And our love kept getting strong
I have shown you what love is
Where others couldn't keep it true
I thank the Lord everyday
For the precious gift, You!
