Analysis of Springtides
The raindrops fall onto my window,
Nature's percussion performs its melodies.
But its beauty and its splendor
Cannot compare to the way you make me feel...
When I close my eyes, I see you,
When I hide my head, I hear your name,
When I'm all alone, I feel you,
I don't think that I'll ever be the same.
I remember those days when we'd talk for hours,
Playful romance with little inside jokes,
You lit my days, you shaped a lifetime,
Beautiful girl, say the words I'm yours.
I pray myself, that I shall find you,
so I can get lost in your presence once again...
When I close my eyes, I see you,
When I hide my head, I hear your name,
When I'm all alone, I feel you,
I don't think that I'll ever be the same.
You keep the hopeless romantic inside me alive...
