Analysis of Siobhan
Siobhan
Where have you been girl?
Do you still tie your laces into a noose?
And do your friends still think you're a recluse?
Does your mother still cut your sandwiches into quarters?
And does your father still act dotingly over daddies only daughter?
Siobhan
Where have you been girl?
Have you heard the rain outside?
Do you still wear his old shirt and tie?
Dancing to the sounds of the dark
Are you still your daddies little spark?
Siobhan
Where have you been girl?
Do you still sing like Sinatra?
And woop when he walks through the door
Dropping his bags in the middle of the hall
His arms outstretched waiting for you to run
A loving embrace in the evening sun
Siobhan
Where have you been girl?
Do you still run upstairs in rage when your mother says no?
You ask daddy because he will let you go
He loves you but he knows
You will not always be a baby girl
And one day you must leave the nest
But your brilliance will never end
Does your mother still cut your sandwiches into squares?
Are your parents the only ones who care?
Siobhan left but is forever kept in her daddies heart
She she's his little spark.
