Analysis of Secret box

Childhood memories long forgot,
put away in a secret box,
never to be seen again
until the day my world caved in
now the people will finally see
whats been locked deep in me
a hidden fear kept far but close
inside my soul, its like a ghost
why have i kept for so long
a pain and shame that is so strong
when something happens you cant control
you deal with it the way you know
the way ive always dealt my friend
is the secret box ive locked it in
so many times ive wondered why
for little things i sit and cry
now i stop and think again
im the child the box is in.
