Analysis of Scarecrow in fall
The scarecrow has done her job
The bunnies are gone - hop, hop
Abandoned the field lies still
On the sun side of a hill
Harvested are the pumpkins
Rattling are the metal tins
Around the scarecrow's thin neck
The wind blow them forth and back
Rain filled the brim of her hat
At a puddle drinks a rat
Nature seems to be dying
And the scarecrow is crying
Because she is forgotten
Has to stay and get rotten
Rain washes away the sand
Soon snow will cover the land
It will wrap the scarecrow up
In it's cold blanket up and up
