Analysis of Respect Amongst Poets
Respect Amongst Poets
Respect is a strange thing amongst poets.
It is something we all want but do not show it.
We cry from our souls for our work.
Yet there are critics that treat us like jerks.
My heart bleeds for those at are trying.
For every bad word, their spirits start dying.
To them that wants only to belong.
We tend to serve them a dish of wrong.
I bleed in my heart when I see
The things in there life's that could be.
We just need to give them a chance,
Treat their work with a little romance.
A little kindness here and there,
Never cost anything to spare.
Think about the respect you do not give.
For the life you have to live.
