Leaves of the Heart
Leaves of the Heart
Simple, I see, what must it be?
If only I knew what was meant for me.
Stars up above, shining with love,
Can only set a hungry man's heart free.
Leaves down below, where all leaves must go,
Shape our bed in colors orange and red.
Out of a pile flies a piece of my heart,
To bestow upon a love that yearns to start.
Two hearts must feast as the ground and the leaf
Crawl out of the flames of pain and grief,
When all the pieces of our hearts merge,
Upon that day our souls will be purged.
Our love will become extraordinary,
As our souls meet in a romantic story.
So warm the rakings of your loving heart,
And I will warm your leaves from the cold of the dark.
