Analysis of Recherche de Temps Perdu
I remember when the cool summer wind
froze lilacs blooming in a vase of crisp
country apples napping in the swirl of
summer grass. It was a cold winter when
my little brother and I played
in the snow that fell from heaven
like blankets of angels; tickling our tongue
as we ran laughing in the wind down the
the evening dusk as the sounds of dinner bells rang through the town.
Today, as leaves play against my window, I
am reminded of cold winter evenings when
smoke fell from chimneys and children
laughing played against the Light.
...when I was a young girl and the world
swirled around me in a torrent of protest
I played among the amber trees...
the night air fell silent
and the sky grew generous with stars.
