Analysis of Rain, rain go away
As I sit and stare, watch and sigh
My chin bored …in palms of hands
The pellets plunging like broken rockets
… from the sky
The drops they tap onto windows panes
Teasing…
“CAN”T COME OUT TO PLAY”
The thunder scolds the sun
And the clouds chase her away
The shower she falls even bolder now
The liquid boredom continues to pour
And it rains cats and dogs upon my hopes
Of freedoms beyond this door
