Analysis of Pray, Trust, Obey by Rev. Dr. Fred M. Lassonde

Pray, Trust, Obey by Rev. Dr. Fred M. Lassonde

I look up into the Sky

I pray for God's children

I am beyond asking why

only ask what to do then

Now many suffer and they cry

and many look up to the Sky

Wondering what to do then

as they pray for God's children

We may or may not know why

We all suffer as we all do

Yet we look up to the Sky

While you pray for me and I pray for you

Now I will tell you this much

We are to love such and such

Not to hate or fight anymore

Trust and ask God not to even the score

For most people know not what they do

When they hurt me or you

Most do as they do in this fallen world

Not being God's boy or girl

They need to know God as we do

On our knees we look up to the Sky

We close our eyes me and you

We obey, pray and we often cry

For this World is full of pain

On and on sunshine or rain

If not for God our Savior

There would be no hope for this behavior

I look up into the Sky

I pray for God's children

I am beyond asking why

only ask what to do then

Would you join me in doing this

Would you join me in this endeavor

Together our prayers will not go amiss

Let us kneel as we pray, as we pray together

Let us pray for all who need it

Including those who are not of us

Including those who do not commit

To God, to our Savior Jesus

Yes, let us pray to our God and King

For where He is there is His Kingdom

For where God is Freedom does ring

Yes, as we pray our souls know their Freedom

So as we look up into the Sky

As we  pray for all God's children

We are beyond asking why

only ask Sire what to do then
