Analysis of Poverty
Rigors of hardship rising,
The soul is torn and weary,
Eating away at the mind and heart,
Scarcity makes us teary.
Attempting tasks at hand,
We sharpen our skills,
We think the work that’s brought to us
Brings wealth, yet really nil!
Is there any way to rise above
The needs that seethe within,
Spirits are downtrodden,
But laborers sometimes win!
Work is never far away,
Being poor is still a mainstay,
One can work and plan another moment:
I pray!
