Analysis of Phenomonal Woman
By the time I realized, it was too late
As I looked in your eyes, you decided my fate
You took a deep breath and made it clear
That all you wanted was to instill the fear
It was a hot day in June when you took my life away
As you slammed me into the wall like it was just another day
My face is on fire as the tears run down
I tried to speak but there was no sound
You have your hands around my throat
in that moment all there was...was hope
Within an instance you was gone
My only question is for how long?
Every second I sit, I'm glad they took you away
As I can scream to the world I am here to stay
It was that day I stood my ground
As I realized I no longer needed you around
I know its gonna be a struggle and a fight
but I'm a phenomonal woman who took back her life
