Analysis of On the battlefeild
It's been a long road
from when I first began
My sultry tears soak the ground
on the battlefeild
The enemy bringing defeat and anguish
charges to wage war against me
I'm on my knees in surrender
on the battlefeild
My mind is overcome with fear
My body riddled with maladies
There's not an ounce of hope
on the battlefeild
The crops of wealth are little
The dreams I had are quashed
How can I push forward
on the battlefeild
The war layed out before me
is more than I can bare
My enemies are closing in
on the battlefeild
Do I not have an army
Am I fighting all alone
Doesn't anyone care to rescue me
on the battlefeild
Heaven knows how this fight ends
The casualties may be vast
But I'm gonna fight until the bitter end
on the battlefeild
