Analysis of Nothing Left

Always the more I give
the less I get
You take so much
That I've got nothing left

Once I'm strong
Break my walls down again
And somehow
I forget
Not to let you back in

This constant warfare in my head
Haunts me as I go to bed
And in my dreams
It's just us two
A happy me, A kinder you

But when I wake
My empty chest
Reminds me
Of my nothing left
My everything you stole from me
And how my dreams will never be.
