Analysis of Nonsense with Feeling
Ever try to write a poem,
About the size of brick,
How about heat in the Ghost Pepper,
This isn't an easy trick.
It follows that there is room,
For plants that run away,
From all the wanton Vegans,
Why would they want to stay?
I often wonder why the parts,
That make up cars and trucks,
Were never included in the recipe,
That makes for quacking ducks.
The Master created all of this,
For me to write for fun,
Why is it others will eschew,
A gnat that weighs a ton?
A broken Tome unreadable,
Lies soaking in the sea,
Does the Tome contain some wisdom,
That you and I might see?
A message in a bottle,
Flies quickly on night air,
It reaches destination safe,
Does poet even care?
Old wine bottles on the floor,
Of small and unused shed,
The Blackbirds come and sing their songs,
I head off to bed.
Boring musings these are not,
Nonsense to the end,
It makes the soul chuckle freely,
The haughty will offend.
I leave you now with this one thought,
As nonsense will sometimes,
How much nonsense can be made,
Of those who disdain Rhymes?
