Analysis of No Stones Cast
The old man rubs his hands together
Above the barrels flame
Trying to warm himself from the cold
No home to claim...
His body is covered with rags he's found
In another's discarded litter
Layers he piles upon himself
Not a moment to be bitter...
This is the life he has chosen
Far from the days of his past
This is the way he wants his life
No stones cast...
The fire dwindles and the cold wind blows
Refuge must be found in another place
He just moves on without a word
Changes not his life, but his space...
