Analysis of Nightmare
Cold wind tearing at me ripping my clothes
From my struggling body
Branches tearing into my skin like nails
Hurting me, torturing me, punishing me
Rain pouring, drenching me
Oh, this storm is terrible, tossing
Leaves flying, dirt flying, burning my eyes
Oh, the darkness. I am afraid of the dark!
I wake up. It was just a dream.
I open my eyes. The room is white, stark.
My parents are on one side of my bed,
With a man in a white jacket.
The police are on the other side.
It hits me. It was't a dream
It was a nightmare.
I've been raped.
