Analysis of Never Alone

Nancy McDonald 1968 (Blytheville, Arkansas)

You never are alone

For God is always there

A true friend a confident

Your burdens He will share

God is a comforter in all areas

He will right each and every wrong

Nothing comes as a surprise to Him

For He knew the answers all along

God stands beside us each morning

Walks with us throughout the day

Watches over us at night while we sleep

And listens to us when we pray

The joy that awaits us

We can not even begin to contemplate

But we will understand it once and for all

When we enter those Pearly Gates
