Analysis of Morning and Evening
Iris groves
Translucent spears of night -
A shawl of emeralds falls.
Lady lover, my hopes are dead -
Give me heart!
Violet hues
Dark smudges, soft delight -
Cast on leaves of stony jade.
Lady lover, my thoughts will fade -
Should we part?
Questions left
The past recedes from sight -
Tendrils of doubt pause but are not gone.
Lady lover, you cry alone -
Morning's mist.
Unanswered
A gift of sorrow's might -
Whispers dare and glances pass our way.
Lady dreamer, you turn aside -
Won't you stay?
