Analysis of Letting Go
The life we were living was out of control
And not what I wished for myself I can't believe
I waited so long I've no one to blame
but myself This could have been prevented if
we respected each other more Many nights I cried myself
to sleep as you lay drunk and passed out on the floor
I searched for an answer to end the maddness
But after I left there was even more saddness
In retrospect things were pretty bad prior
So I stayed away for the rest of the year
I never thought people could be so cruel
Nor had I ever shed so many tears
But I felt blessed by the children we've created
together and for that reason alone I'll love you
forever They say Letting Go is the hardest part
I know it is true for there was pain in my heart
