Analysis of John 17:3

My hunger never ends
for knowing more of You.
Did not the Saviour pray
the night he was betrayed,
for all who come -
by truth - be set apart?
Then may Your light ignite
refiner's fire in the heart,
my worldly gain to lay,
and at the cross remain.

Ablaze, the Spirit moulds,
eternal life- may it unfold.
