Analysis of Is Emptiness My Destiny

Quiet days have come again
Feelings of sadness and emptiness emerge
What was once a time of love and cheer
Has since been swept away by the winds surge
Once there was days of talking and joking
Days filled with the joys of tomorrow
Evenings full of tenderness and hope
Life looked to be as free as a sparrow
As time goes on the days grow shorter
Life begins to look a bit more dim each day
Wondering can we again make the sun shine
It begins to look shallow, light fades away
What will come next as the days pass
What will become of this new life of mine
Has time foresaken me so much I lose all
Has life left me hanging on the line
Perhaps what was once a happy time for me
Was just a taste not the "main meal"
Were my hopes put up high once again
Again just to be diminished love I feel
