Analysis of immortality

As she stood in the doorway
She gave a stare that said
I am ready for all that's good
The one thing in life that god gave us
The only real true pleasure in life
The ability to become one with another
As the touch of ones flesh
Is the one true gift of knowledge
That immortality is but one heartbeat away
