Analysis of Imagine
Imagine rain that never soaks
The sun that never warms the skin
Imagine pain that never wounds
And life without a hint of sin
Pretend that day won't shatter night
That tears won't ever dry to smiles
Pretend you never feel despair
And trust - unable to beguile
Assume that all laughter is for you
And beauty won't pass you by
Assume each day a precious gift
And that you will learn how to fly
Believe that you can rope the moon
And touch the bottom of the sea
Believe that wings are meant for flight
And soaring limitless you'll be
