Analysis of I just wanna understand

So many questions
so many thoughts
I just wanna understand

so many paths
and many directions
I just wanna understand

so many people
with different ways of thinking
I just wanna understand

so many ways to reach you
spiritual paths, many religions
I just wanna understand

so many ways we're taught to feel
hurt, jealousy, caring, love and & all human emotions
I just wanna understand

so many ways we're taught to live
freely, faithful, sacrificial,forgetful, devotion
I just wanna understand

so many ways we're taught to give
wholeheartedly, selflessly, selfishly, and with expectations
I just wanna understand

I just wanna understand
life, its mystery and confusion

maybe I should stop seeking to understand
but learn from the journey and practice appreciation

Life, creation... its mystery
I shall relinquish the need to understand
and enjoy the ride to its destination
but I sure am grateful to the universe for holding on tight to my hand

Life...it's meant to be a mystery
I get it now, I understand
