Analysis of Hope

Looking at my life thro' an open window.
The pain in my eyes for all to see
Behind me is darkness; In front redemption.
My thoughts are hushed in the breeze,
My tears dried and complete.
Evidence of my trivia, ash stains down my cheeks.
Vivid greens, blues and hues,
seduce me from the other side of the window.
The inside is dull, forlorn and disarrayed,
Secrets killing my soul.
On the outside weeds seem happier than me,
Harsh cracked faces; Blood cold and frozen within.
Dandelion fairies dance high in the ocean sky.
Trapped, caught and alone.
Fear etched into each breath.
He walks in, My heart stops, light sears my soul
Release finally comes as I hit the floor
for in my hand Hope throbs.
